J. Todd Mahoney, O.D.  

           

Dr. J. Todd Mahoney received his Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Houston College of Optometry in 1983.  He practiced one year in Omaha before joining Scottsbluff Vision Clinic in 1984.  

   

Dr. Mahoney's undergraduate study included earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in chemistry and secondary education from Midland Lutheran College in 1977.  He played varsity basketball at Midland as a three-year starter and earned four letters.  He also taught school and coached at Johnson-Brock High School for two years.

   

Dr. Mahoney is a native of Western Nebraska having graduated from Mitchell High School in 1973.  He currently resides in Scottsbluff with his wife Cindy. Together they have two sons, Thomas a college professor in mathematics at Emporia State University, and Trevor a master's degree candidate in statistics at Penn State. 

    

Dr. Mahoney enjoys golf, Husker football, most spectator sports and being a grandpa.  He also dabbles in fantasy football.  His family attends First Christian Church in Scottsbluff.

 

Dr. Mahoney is a long-standing member of the American Optometric Association, the Nebraska Optometric Association and the Wyoming Optometric Association.
