Megan Rother, OD

Dr. Megan Rother received her Doctor of Optometry degree at Midwestern University Arizona College of Optometry in 2019.  During her time at AZCOPT, she was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society, served as President of the AZCOPT Students Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity and was the recipient of an award for Excellence in Clinical Skills.  Prior to practicing at Scottsbluff Vision Clinic, she completed a year-long Ocular Disease and Primary Care Residency at The Eye Institute of the Salus University Pennsylvania College of Optometry.

Prior to optometry school, Dr. Rother earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Carolina where she was a four-year member of the track and field and cross-country teams.  During this time, she also participated in the Girls on the Run program, which focused on confidence-building activities for young school-aged girls seeking to become more active through running.

Dr. Rother grew up in Langhorne, Pennsylvania where she graduated from Villa Joseph Marie High School in 2009.  She recently moved to the Scottsbluff area and enjoys cooking, outdoor activities, being an aunt to her three nephews and a niece, and a "dog mom" to her recently adopted two-year-old pup.

Dr. Rother is a member of the American Optometric Association.
