COMPREHENSIVE EYE EXAMINATIONS
The best way to promote healthy vision for a lifetime is with an annual eye examination. During your yearly exam, our doctors will evaluate changes in your vision and discuss any eye difficulties you are experiencing. If needed, our doctors will also prescribe drops and antibiotics for eye infections, ocular allergies, dry eye, and glaucoma.
PEDIATRIC VISION CARE
Our comprehensive pediatric eye examinations entail much more than routine school eye screenings. We assess refractive error and ocular health, and provide an analysis of the child's complete binocular vision system. Every Nebraska student is required to have an eye examination within six months prior to entering school.
OPTOMAP RETINAL IMAGING
With the results of Optomap retinal imaging, our doctors can see a 200-degree wide field of the inside of your eye. You are placed in front of the Optomap machine and look through a small window. An image similar to a digital photograph is then taken that can detect eye problems before they affect your vision.
OPTICAL COHERENCE TOMOGRAPHY
Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) is one of the few devices that reveals in-depth images of the eye's internal structures. The exam only takes a few seconds and nothing touches your eyes. Our doctors discuss the results with you and keep your details on file to monitor any changes from one eye examination to another.
TREATMENT OF EYE CONDITIONS
Your eyes are complex organs with many parts that must work together to produce clear vision. Our doctors are highly knowledgeable about eye conditions that negatively affect your vision and in most cases can administer effective treatment. Our doctors work closely with Dishler Laser Institute in Denver www.dishler.com to perform pre-operative and post-operative LASIK services. This quick and effective outpatient surgical procedure is designed to permanently improve everyday vision by reshaping the cornea using a precise medical laser.
